VaccinationsWe require proof of vaccination against the basic airborne and upper respiratory diseases within the past 12 months. Vaccination protocols are under much discussion, and there is growing consensus that booster shots are required less frequently,
unless the cat is being boarded.
If your vet feels that your cat does not require yearly vaccinations, we will accept a letter from her/him stating that in their opinion your cat's shots are current
for boarding, and the date they require a booster. We do not allow cats from different families to mix, so we don't require Rabies or Feline Leukemia shots.
Medications and Veterinary ServicesWe can administer oral or topical medication to your cat. We are also trained and equipped to handle any cat that requires injections. Please bring extra medication, as sometimes the cat doesn’t fully cooperate. Additional charges may apply.
In the highly unlikely event that your cat requires the services of a vet, we are quite close to several vet offices. For after hours emergencies, we have a local on-call vet, and there is a vet hospital staffed 24/7 about 45 minutes from us in Calgary. We will ask you to leave us a contact number when you check in and will try to reach you before taking your cat to see a vet. However, if we can't contact you quickly, we will take the cat in and contact you later. Rest assured that we will do everything in our power to make sure your cat is cared for properly. Vet services will be billed to you exactly as they are billed to us. The only additional charge will be a $25.00 transport fee.
